The Spirit weekend has been a 30+ year tradition of men gathering in spirit, comradery, competition, adventure and brotherhood. Starting in 1991 in Upstate New York, the Spirit Weekend welcomed all men from the Sterling Men's Weekend community to come together with the purpose of keeping the Men's Weekend alive and for the Spirit Weekend production team to deliver a unique men's work experience while caring for the men. The underlying themes of the Spirit Weekend has been to embrace the three dimensional man (Clint, Ghandi, Curly), to have fun and to break bread together. At the end of each Spirit Weekend there is a tradition where a man or team musters up the courage to grab The Rock placed in the center of the circle of men signifying their unalterable commitment to produce the next Spirit Weekend. This is an opportunity for men to grow as a leader and a team to form a closer bond. In recent years the Spirit Weekend has opened up to all men interested in men's work with an invitation to further engage in the process of being the man they always wanted to be (ie. Men's Weekend, Legacy Weekend or a men's team). Let's have this long tradition live on.
